HOW DO I BOOK INTO A GROUP CLASS?

You can book into our group classes by selecting a class time you would like from our schedule. You will be redirected to Punchpass (our booking system) which will prompt you to create an account or sign in. From there you will need to purchase a pass to reserve your space in the class. You can book, waitlist or cancel and manage your classes all from your Punchpass account.

WHAT IF IT’S MY FIRST CLASS AT COMMON GROUND?

Wonderful, we can’t wait for you to experience the amazing benefits of Reformer Pilates for yourself. We recommend booking in to a Level One class to start. All our classes run for 45 minutes and we have up to 8 people in our group classes.

For your first class please arrive 5 minutes early so your instructor can welcome you to the studio, answer any questions and ensure you are feeling settled in our space. We encourage you to wear clothing that you feel comfortable moving in and bring a drink bottle to stay hydrated. On the Reformer we wear sticky socks for hygiene and safety reasons. Sticky socks can be purchased from our studio for $20 each. We have several clean pairs available to borrow if you would like to trial our classes before investing in a pair of your own.

DO YOU HAVE AN APP FOR BOOKING IN?

Yes we do! Our booking system is called Punchpass and you can manage all our bookings through the website or our app. For instructions on how to install your Punchpass app on your Iphone, Ipad or Andriod phone, click on the link below.

WHAT IS THE LATE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY?

If you are booked into a class and wish to cancel your attendance, you must cancel through our booking system 12 hours prior to the class commencing. Thank you, we appreciate the early notice, and no class will be deducted from your membership or concession pass.

Cancellations made after the 12-hour mark will be considered a late cancel. If you do not cancel your class and do not attend this will be considered a no show (please avoid doing this if possible).

By booking online you are agreeing to our cancellation policy. Both late cancellations and no shows will result in a lost class. Please understand that this policy is in place to ensure bookings are made with consideration.

HOW DO WAITLISTS WORK?

If the class you would like to attend is full, we encourage you to join the waitlist. If/when a space in that class becomes available you will receive an email to say you got in, yay! If you add yourself to a waitlist, please ensure you are prepared to join that class. You can be pulled off a waitlist and into the class up to one hour prior to the class commencing.

PLEASE NOTE:

Our 12hr cancellation policy still applies if you join a class from the waitlist. Therefore if you’ve made other plans it’s best to remove yourself from the waitlist to prevent getting pulled in, giving the next in line an opportunity to come to class!

Waitlists are GREAT, however you need to be a bit savvy with them.

HOW DOES MY INTRO PASS WORK?

Our Intro offers are subject to availability. To find out if we currently have an intro offer running, please check under the Investment tab on our website for details. All intro offers are available to purchase once per client. On an intro offer you will have 7 days in advance to book your classes in and the expiration date will be set after the first class you attend.

HOW DOES MY CONCESSION PASS WORK?

We offer several different concessions passes which provide you with flexibility to complete your classes on a time schedule that works for you. You will have 7 days in advance to book your classes in. This works on the hour, so for example if you would like to book in for Monday 7am next week you will have access from Monday 7am this week.

Our passes have differing expiry dates which are set once you attend your first class on that pass.

5 class pass - 2-month expiry

10 class pass - 3-month expiry

15 class pass – 4-month expiry

Casual class – no expiry

HOW DOES MY MEMBERSHIP WORK?

We offer memberships to those who would like to commit to a consistent Reformer Pilates practice. Our memberships are a weekly contract with a minimum term of three months with us (Thank you!). You will be signing up for 2, 3, or 4 classes with us per week at a great price. Your chosen bank account will be charged weekly on the day that you commence your membership. We recommend making your payment date a Monday to prevent overbooking classes. This is because our members receive trusted access to our booking system, enabling you to schedule your classes 15 days in advance.

Membership pauses –

To place a pause on your membership please contact us at hello@commongroundstudio.nz with the dates required. We are happy to pause your membership for no less than 1 week at a time and for up to 4 weeks of the year with sufficient notice.

Membership cancellation –

We are sad to hear you are looking to cancel your membership. Please send us an email to inform us of your cancellation providing us with 4 weeks notice. We would love to hear about your experience as a Common Ground member and if there is anything you feel we could improve on. Thank you for moving with us!

HOW DO I BOOK A PRIVATE CLASS WITH A COMMON GROUND INSTRUCTOR?

We manage our private sessions via email and book these in around our set group classes. If you are interested, please get in touch with us hello@commongroundstudio.nz

CAN I COME TO A CLASS IF I HAVE AN INJURY?

You are welcome to join our group classes if you have a mild injury after clearance from a medical practitioner. Please let your instructor know at the start of your class so they can discuss any modifications with you. If you have a moderate to severe active injury, we recommend reaching out to us to discuss which class type will best suit your needs. We encourage beginning with a private class which is a 1:1 session with one of our qualified instructors. They will guide you through a personalised Reformer class to learn more about your injury and advise whether private or group classes will provide you the most support during your rehabilitation.
